If the Bellerose Bulldogs played St. Albert teams all the time they would be undefeated in high school football.

The Paul Kane Blues junior football team passed its biggest test of the year, and they did it with honours to earn a spot in the Oct. 26 Edmonton Metro league premier semifinals.

It took longer than expected but the St. Albert Steel finally won a game in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Playoff action is underway today at the annual SAPEC junior high volleyball tournament with 58 best-of-three matches scheduled. Bellerose Composite High School and Vincent J. Maloney School are the venues for the 20-team girls’ competition.
