It’s payback time for the St. Albert Raiders. Today the Raiders play the Red Deer Chiefs for the first time since the midget AAA provincial final. Faceoff is 1:15 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.

The St. Albert Skyhawks are double trouble in high school volleyball. The men’s and women’s varsity teams are both undefeated in the metro Edmonton league.

The varsity men’s and women’s volleyball teams at St. Albert Catholic High School put their undefeated metro Edmonton records on the line today at the SkyDome. At 4:45 p.m.

The St. Albert 49ers landed with a thud after falling from the undefeated ranks in bantam football. The Fort Saskatchewan Lightning overpowered the 49ers 36-23 Saturday in front of a stunned hometown crowd at Riel Recreation Park.

Finishing 10th overall at the 33rd annual Victoria Marathon with a personal best time was a bittersweet feeling for Marc Meunier. The two-time reigning RunWild Leading Edge Marathon champion completed Sunday’s 42.

Johnny Bright Park – The Bellerose Bulldogs are leading the pack in pursuit of their first junior football championship in school history. The Bulldogs are 3-0 with four games remaining until the Nov. 1 premier semifinals.
