The team's provincial qualifying game is slated for Nov. 9. Their opponent will be determined by which team wins the Division Two Miles Division. 

Luke Harris is set to compete in Nashville, Tennessee, this weekend, and he expects the centre to put together for the 2021 World Master Championships in Las Vegas in mid-November. 

The Raiders will look to continue their undefeated streak this Sunday as they travel to Leduc to take on the Wilhauk Jerky Oil Kings. The team will return to Jarome Iginla Arena ice on Oct. 27 for a rematch with Sherwood Park. 

Non-profit also looking for board members

The Slash welcome the Rocky Mountain Raiders to Go Auto Arena on Saturday with a 7:15 p.m. puck drop; and the Calgary Fire come to town on Sunday for a 1:30 p.m. start. 

The U12B St. Albert Legends was the only hometown team to take home a gold medal.

The Merchants are back in action this week as they host the Edmonton Royals at Jarome Iginla Arena on Friday. They have a game on Sunday in Wetaskiwin against the Icemen. 

The Sturgeon Spirits high school football team's next match-up will be against the 3-1 St. Francis Xavier Rams this Friday at Larry Olexiuk Field. They will then host the 3-1 Fort Saskatchewan Sting on Oct. 14. 

Students are eager to get back on the court and compete.
