The division lineups have been finalized for the John Reid Memorial Tournament, Jan. 14 to 17 at Servus Credit Union Place. The 16-team, 42-game schedule for the 38th annual St.

The St. Albert Mission belles skate twice this weekend in U19AA ringette. Tonight the Mission plays the U of A alumni at the Enoch Rec Centre and Sunday’s game against the Edmonton Elite is at Akinsdale Arena. Start times are 7:30 p.m.

Team Canada prop Andy Tiedemann of St. Albert has signed an 18-month pro contract with Pro D2 club Bourgoin. Bourgoin is 12th in the Pro D2 tables with three wins in the first nine matches.

Winning provincials was a golden moment for the St. Albert Skyhawks. The first volleyball championship banner in St. Albert Catholic High School history was awarded to the lady Skyhawks at the 3A provincials in Bonnyville after sweeping the St.

There are two St. Albert connections to the Grey Cup game on Sunday in Winnipeg. Jordan Maksymic is the running backs coach with the Ottawa RedBlacks and Graeme Scott is an equipment assistant with the Edmonton Eskimos.
