A grass fire on the west end of Edmonton has shut down much Anthony Henday Drive between Yellowhead Trail and Stony Plain Road while Edmonton fire services respond to the fire.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take alternate routes home as there is potential for the fire to spread. Visibility in the area is low and drivers are urged to use extra caution during their commute.
