Enough already!
St. Albert is a beautiful city with a reputable history in many areas. Yes, some of that history the city is not proud of, and they are making every effort to make things right in these areas of sad and grave concern.
Today, however, we address the name change of streets, avenues, schools and whatever else someone has the negative energy to dream up. These concerns have been addressed and somewhat resolved — until now, as Boudreau Road and Lucien Drive are attacked.
So where does it end? For goodness’ sake, should the people who have the time to dispute history — be it always negative — not need a rethink? Why not put that energy into solving our St. Albert homeless situation? Yes, we have this need, and it is growing. These people did not choose their lives to be as such; perhaps it chose them.
