There's a 30 per cent chance of soup, sandwiches and showers in St. Albert around noon, according to Environment Canada.
The rain, if it comes, will be cleared out in the afternoon by 20 km/h winds gusting up to 40 km/h. The temperature is expected to fall to 1 C at about the same time. The wind will persist into the evening, keeping the skies clear with an overnight low of -2 C and a wind chill making it feel closer to -6.
Thursday will bring sunny skies and a similar wind chill in the morning, overall daily high of 1 C.
Snow or rain is possible Friday during the day, with ECCC forecasting a 60 per cent chance of showers Friday night, and a 30- to 40-per-cent chance of flurries Saturday.
