St. Albert RCMP seek suspect in hit and run that caused car fire

St. Albert RCMP are looking for a driver who hit another vehicle on Villeneuve Road at the traffic circle adjacent to Walmart Thursday evening. 

The victim’s vehicle was struck from behind by a black, 2015-2020 GMC Sierra quad cab pick up truck causing the victim to drive off the road. The victim's car started on fire, and was damaged beyond repair, according to an RCMP press release.

The release describe's the suspect's driving as "aggressive."

The suspect's truck has red or pink rims, a black headache rack, a metal push bar on the front and damage to the passenger side.

"Additionally, RCMP are asking residents to check their home and dash cameras for footage of this distinctive vehicle," the release says
