The Service Clubs of St. Albert are hoping to collect a mountain or two of food for the local food bank this Saturday.

Donations will be accepted at both Save-On Foods locations, Wal-Mart Supercentre, Sobeys, Safeway, Superstore, Frescho, and Pearson's Independent Grocer between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The Service Clubs of St. Albert is a newly-formed coalition of 14 local service groups, such as the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs, the Host Lions Club, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and more.

The group came together to share ideas and volunteer power.
