St. Albert Rainmaker Festival returns May 26 to 28 full of action and surprises. Concert tickets for Friday rock night and Saturday country night are now on sale.
Tribute bands fill Rainmaker’s concert tent on Friday showcasing several of the greatest rock bands in modern history. BC/DC headlines reinvigorates the sound of AD/DC while Dreams portrays Fleetwood Mac with authenticity. And Five on the Side, one of Edmonton’s favourite party bands pulls all the stops showcasing Top 40 grooves.
Saturday night features the best female country talent in Canada. Jess Moskaluke, an internationally celebrated recording artist who was the first female since Shania Twain to achieve a CRIA platinum single, is the marquee artist.
Supporting her is Nice Horse, a quartet of fierce and feisty country artists, Olivia Rose, recipient of the Edmonton Music Rising Star Award, and Taylor-Rae , an Alberta gal now in Nashville working to hit the big-time.
