Local man facing charges of trafficking meth and fentanyl

The man was also wanted on outstanding warrants, including two previous charges of trafficking methamphetamine, a Canada-wide parole warrant and possession of property obtained by a crime.

A St. Albert man is facing charges of trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine.

On Nov. 4 the St. Albert RCMP drug unit and crime reduction unit arrested Eric Angers, 42, and charged him with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl. 

Angers was also wanted on outstanding warrants, including two previous charges of trafficking methamphetamine, a Canada-wide parole warrant and possession of property obtained by a crime. 

Angers was remanded in custody and will appear in St. Albert Provincial Court on Jan. 9, 2023.
