St. Albert is bustling with exciting summer activities for the whole family. From live entertainment to exploring a variety of community events. Make the most of your summer with these fun activies this weekend. 

1. The Amplify Festival presents local artists  

Join the Amplify Festival this Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festival showcases St. Albert's young local musicians, interactive workshops, and visual artists along the Sturgeon River behind St. Albert Place.

2. Western Canada’s largest outdoor market

The St. Albert Farmers Market is back this year with over 250 vendors. Shop fresh produce, home-baked goods, and enjoy live music while you browse.  

The market is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting mid-June to early October, at Perron District in Downtown St. Albert. It's the perfect stop for community natural foods.

3. Grosvenor outdoor pool

Open seasonally until Aug. 31, Grosvenor pool in St. Albert is the place to stay cool this summer. You can swim, relax, and soak up the sun, and when you’re ready for a quick snack, the Splash Deck Café will be available to the public. Whether you’re looking for a laid-back afternoon or swimming laps, Grosvenor is the perfect place for family fun.

4. Sturgeon Valley Golf Course

If you love golf, Sturgeon Valley Golf and Country Club is the place for you. Located in Sturgeon County, this course showcases the best golf has to offer. They open Monday through Friday after 4 p.m., and after 2 p.m. on weekends. 

The golf course spans a total of 220 acres and offers unique challenges every round. In addition to golf, the venue hosts events year-round, with food and beverages available to guests.
