Four units caught fire in Grandin Village fire

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Four families have been displaced after their homes were impacted by the fire at Grandin Village last night. 

On Friday at 8:44 p.m., St. Albert Fire Service was dispatched to Grandin Village, where 24 firefighters from St. Albert and another 18 from Edmonton Fire Rescue responded to the fire, according to St. Albert city spokesperson Cory Sinclair. 

Firefighters battled the fire for just under 4.5 hours, Sinclair said. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation and the damage estimate is unknown at this point.
