St. Albert Christmas shoppers should know that West Edmonton Mall is on lockdown again this afternoon (Dec. 2) due to a firearms incident.
The mall's official account on X (formerly Twitter) has a message that the mall is currently under lockdown, advising any shoppers in the mall to remain in the closest secure location until the lockdown has been lifted.
One account on X is claiming that the lockdown has been prompted by an altercation involving a person pointing a firearm at another person in front of the Old Navy store.
