Alberta RCMP Major Crimes investigating after St. Albert man found dead

RCMP said they believe the shooting was targeted and that there is no danger to the general public.

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating after a St. Albert man was found deceased in Morinville. 

On April 18 at 4:30 a.m., Morinville RCMP responded to a shooting in the Morinville Estates Manufactured Home Community, police said in a news release. 

EMS and STARS attended, however St. Albert resident Shane Fry, 37, was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The investigation is still ongoing, but RCMP believe the shooting was targeted and that there is no danger to the general public.
