Hot off the press St. Albert Chamber Music Society just issued its lineup for the 2018-2019 season. The ninth season kicks off Sept. 15 with the newly formed Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton led by artistic director Lidia Khaner.

It’s a simple concept but it might give a lot of people a major case of the nerves, at least until they do it.

Privada Wine + Tapas is a St. Albert restaurant that points to the city’s growing cosmopolitan reach. An anchor on St. Anne Street’s food strip, it is a chic neighbourhood restaurant that re-imagines the form of food and how people eat.

Album release Jill Barber, one of the Arden Theatre’s most recognizable vocalists, releases her new studio album on June 22 via Outside Music.

Art Gallery of St. Albert Birds, Bees and Ambergris features sculptures by Gerri Harden. Opening reception takes place tomorrow evening from 6 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the June ArtWalk. Artist will be in attendance.

There are three sleeps left before Saturday morning. That’s when the bell is going to ring right at 10 o’clock sharp, letting everybody know that they can revel in the start of another summer season – the 36 th – of the St. Albert Farmers’ Market.
