I’d like to give a huge shout out of appreciation to the St. Albert Walmart. We had family evacuated from the Entwhistle/Evansburg fire in which the tireless efforts of both the fire department and volunteers saved their home. In an effort to contribute we reached out to St. Albert Walmart to ask for any donations of water and fresh fruit to supply the firefighting teams and volunteers with some relief. After speaking to Andrea, she arranged a truck full of water, fruit and sports drinks to be transported up to the front lines. Many of the homes are still without power and a water source, so this generous donation was so greatly appreciated. Thank you so much to Andrea and store manager Kevin and to the warehouse staff members who loaded up the truck. Your contributions to both St. Albert and its surrounding communities are very much appreciated.
