LETTER: The world is full of kindness

On a daily basis, I am amazed by the kindness of strangers. I am awaiting a hip replacement and that means I deal with pain on a daily basis. Our local grocery stores have motorized scooters available, which make shopping less stressful.
LETTERS

On a daily basis, I am amazed by the kindness of strangers. I am awaiting a hip replacement and that means I deal with pain on a daily basis.
Our local grocery stores have motorized scooters available, which make shopping less stressful. Cashiers pack my groceries and a staff member will escort me to my car and place the bags in the trunk.
A handicap placard for my car is such a blessing and means fewer steps to a store or mall.
People offer me water bottles and kind words and staff at London Drugs have sat with me during a stressful episode until I'm able to carry on.
In today's world, where the news is full of negativity, one person's kindness balances it out.
Sincerely,
Deberah Kearns, St. Albert
