LETTER: Have some empathy before leaving nasty notes on windshields

'I would love for all the wild-tempered people in St. Albert to walk a day in another's shoes.'
letter-sta

I recently received a note on my windshield telling me not to park like a "bleep-da-bleep," as the person could not get in their car while at Sobeys.

I would like people to realize that the North American SUVs and trucks are rather on the wide side, and parking spaces are not super wide, so when I try and squeeze my Honda in between two large vehicles, there may only be 12 inches between your large vehicle and my car.

I would love for all the wild-tempered people in St. Albert to walk a day in another's shoes. You can walk in mine. After needing two knee replacements with both patellas pressing up against the bone, I would love nothing more than to jog down to the store and back, but unfortunately, some days of knee pain only permit me to park as close to a store's door as possible.
