Dave Cunningham's letter (Gazette, July 15) in which he proposes that ill used space in Servus Place be considered for the branch library is not so 'contrarian' after all. His letter is much discussed at coffee meetings and at my dentist's office.

As with presidential tweets, Saturday's front-pager (Gazette, July 29) describing Mayor Nolan Crouse's legal hearing more clearly demonstrates the nature of the man wishing to succeed him.

Political grandstanding comes out more during an election. Cam MacKay was doing just that when he sat outside the courtroom for Nolan Crouse's hearing, then issued emails and statements on his reason for doing so.

In response to Chuck Arp “If I were mayor of St. Albert” (Gazette, June 14), and (Gazette, May 24). If I were the mayor, I would have to quit my day job so I probably won’t be the mayor.

I must commend St. Albert city council on their decision to proceed with bylaw amendments for group homes.
