Saying Yes to this question should not be interpreted as wanting a separation - but rather many of us want to make it clear to our Premier that we want to remain in Canada.

Let's hope that this enthusiasm to engage in the public affairs of our society and cast a ballot at election time, carries forward to our Municipal elections both in willingness to seek office and select the best of those seeking office.

Good question. Would be interesting to re-ask this question in another month - when we find out what the White House actually puts in place.

It would be of significant interest to find out who or what industries/businesses will be majorly affected. Certainly the local auto sector is one but who are the others. City council surely should be focused on this. What is the Gazette planning to due in follow up of this survey?

We need to do something before Council gets railroaded by other fringe groups seeking to delete Lacombe, Churchill, Gervais, Boudreau ,Gibbons and St. Albert from our city's signage. Clearly this council was easily intimidated by a well organized, articulate, heavily out-of-town group seeking political revenge and not truth and reconciliation. This will happen again if no changes are made in either the Councillors we elect or the means by which they can more wisely make decisions --- or both.

There has to be a fairer way for citizens of this city to express their support or concerns for those subjects where City Council is seeking meaningful input. The Grandin 'renaming project' has been a setup from the start - biased and insulting.

By all means, let's get this issue off the agenda of this Council. 'Nuff said already

By all; means, let the next Council deal with this issue. Perhaps the passage of time will soften the recent rush to judgement where the balance of history is missing and the opportunity for a fully informed decision can be made.

If we did, Canada would cast the deciding votes on who would be the next President - given the tight ness of voter choices in USA. That would be the end of the Republican Party as we switch from Canada's Natural Governing Party (Liberals) to the Democratic Party. That would be one indelible way of getting rid of Trumpism.

The problem. with proportional representation is the high likelihood of several splinter groups being elected and no party with a majority. and the necessity of the largest party to be 'blackmailed' by a splinter group to get their support - See the tragedy of Israel.
