I would like to raise a glass to the city staffers who have done such a great job of keeping the trails along the mighty Sturgeon clean and safe this winter. I have been walking them for decades and do believe they were kept better than ever.

Kudos to the worker named Scott who replaced our bird feeder and attached it back on our fence in the back of our home. The city hired people to cut and haul away some of the trees in the parkland behind our home.

We have all been guilty of disregarding the simple life lesson not to judge a book by its cover. What if that cover was a hijab, though, and underneath it was another human just like you?

All this regional effort undertaken in the past several years continues to bode well for Alberta and those elected officials who oppose such efforts of collaboration will need to answer to their electorate across all of Alberta.
