LETTER: Kindness of neighbours leaves an impact

"Our parents wanted us to learn a lesson about hard work but we also learned that even in this crazy and stressful time our awesome community of St. Albert is still showing kindness to their neighbours."

We are sisters age 10 and 12. We recently started a small business raking leaves in our neighbourhood. Our original plan was to try and earn some money to put away for the future. After getting a few phone calls for our business, we started to notice a pattern. We found that all of our customers were booking and paying for our services, not for themselves, but for their neighbours.

In some cases, it was because they were too old to do it themselves or were too busy, or people just wanted to surprise their neighbours by doing something nice.

Our parents wanted us to learn a lesson about hard work but we also learned that even in this crazy and stressful time our awesome community of St. Albert is still showing kindness to their neighbours.
