LETTER: Hats off to St. Albert Home Depot

I have to take my hat off (but not my mask) to the St. Albert Home Depot after my visit on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

While other businesses are showing COVID fatigue and now only haphazardly fulfill COVID protocols, every aspect of my visit at Home Depot I experienced consistant and enthusiastic application of rules.

The greeter stationed at the entrance directed me to hand sanitizer, where there were also spare masks, and tongs to hand them out.

Plexiglas stations were abundant and well-built (They are Home Depot after all). Employees distanced, and were cleaning. Cashier wiped down EVERYTHING between each customer.

Great experience. It did, however, make even more apparent the lax management and employee standards in other businesses.

Thank you, Home Depot.
