Our wonderful Mum left us on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the age of 97 years.
Mum was much loved and will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She enjoyed visits from family and friends, and always had a big smile right to the end for the many phone calls and visits she received from her children and grandchildren.
Mum was predeceased by her husband, Andrew; her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her son, Ian (Stephanie); daughters, Sheila (Wade), Moira (Dale), Monica (Kim) and Norma (Dennis); grandchildren, Lindsay, Mandy, Wade, Garnet (Cathy), Karen (Terry), Sandy, Jennifer (James), Janet (Ryan), Scott (Ashley), Ryan (Katie), Andrew (Angela), Drew (Stefanie), Lane (Jordan) and Elanne (Colton); and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family wants to express their profound appreciation to all the staff and friends at Chartwell in St. Albert, especially Vivian and Molania. Thanks to all the staff and physicians on the 8th floor of Misericordia Hospital and all those who provided care at Norwood to help make Mum’s last few days comfortable.
There will be a Celebration of Mum’s Life at a later date.
