It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mike Webb of Edmonton from heart disease at the young age of 40 years. Mike is survived by his parents Linda and Allan Webb; sisters Kim Webb, Michelle (Mark) Abbott, and Carla (Ryan) Anderson; nieces and nephews Deric, Arwynn and Raeann Abbott; Isla and Oliver Anderson; special aunt Betty Black, aunts and uncles Maryanne (Jim) Pollock, John Warshawski, Rose (Dennis) Robertson, Kathy (Doug) Hargreaves, and John Aldrich. Mike will be fondly remembered by many cousins, friends, and colleagues. Mike will also be missed greatly by his 2 cats Gunnar and Maverick. Mike was predeceased by grandparents; Adelaide and Don Webb, and Mary and Walter Warshawski; his nephew and niece Nathan and Alaina Abbott.
Mike was a very proud first responder, working as a paramedic since 2009. He saved many lives during the course of his work, always made his patients feel at ease with caring words and actions, and helped deliver a new life as well. He had a quick and witty sense of humor, and never missed the chance to make someone laugh. Mike loved camping, playing guitar, spending time with family and friends, and helping anyone (or animals) in need. He will be deeply and profoundly missed.
A funeral service will be held April 29, 2025 at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert at 11:00 am. Interment to follow.
