With great sadness we announce that Ralph Richard Samuel Tigner died on August 13 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 50 years from pancreatic cancer.
Ralph was predeceased by his father, James Tigner (2009). He is survived by Dana (Maduck), his wife of nearly 21 years and children Anna, Sam and Grace. Ralph is also survived by his mother Iris and siblings Andrea (Darrell) Marko; Maureen (Spencer) Tigner-Morison; Sandra Tigner; brothers-in-law Sean (Molly) and Joel (Karen) Maduck; sister-in-law Erin (Philip Missler) Elofson; nieces and nephews Taryna, Alita and Calissa Marko, Kaden Tigner, Maya Morison, Nora, Clara and Joseph Maduck, Lila and Zoe Maduck, Lily, June and West Elofson, Marlene and Friedrich Missler. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Nick and Lorraine Maduck, the extended Tigner, Berezan(sky), Maduck and Maloney families, Brett Elofson and many friends and colleagues.
Ralph was born on 02 May 1974 in St. Albert, Alberta. He graduated from St. Albert High School and earned an P.Eng Degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He was a loyal employee in the telecommunications and mining industries.
Ralph was a loving son, brother, husband and dedicated hockey and Irish feis dad. His family and extended family were always a priority. Dana and his children will cherish many wonderful family memories and miss him always. We are blessed that he was ours.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s RC Church, 541 Silvergrove Dr. NW, at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 23. Burial, lunch and a celebration of life will follow at Eden Brook Funeral Home & Cemetery, 24223 Township Road 242, Calgary.
