Our beautiful, feisty Irish mom, nana and great nana went to her heavenly home on January 2, 2020. She was born on December 12 in Donegal, Ireland to Patrick and Grace McGee. She came to Canada when she was 13 years of age. She excelled at many things: entertaining, decorating, accounting but most importantly loving and caring for her family and friends.
The heart of our family will be sorely missed by daughters: Sherri (Brian) Koziol and Carmen (Mitch) Maksymic-Fix and daughter-in-law, Debbie Maksymic; grandchildren: Jordan (Ashley), Ryan, Mackenzie (Ken), Nolan, Jared and Dawsen and great granddaughter, Dylan Avery. Also sharing in our grief her sisters-in-law: Terry (Dan) Brisson, Mary (Mike) Yeremy, Lorraine Maskwa and Elsie McGee; sister, Patricia Lee and many relatives and friends in Canada, the USA and Ireland.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward (January 25, 2016) and treasured son, Kerry (January 27, 1994).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at North Pointe Community Church, 14025 – 167 Avenue, Edmonton. Sincere thanks to Pastor Michael Voll for officiating. Please enter through south end of Church.
