November 14, 1941 – June 11, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend, Maureen Joan Carson, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of 83.
Maureen will be forever missed by her devoted husband of 66 years, Gordon; her children Kristine, Vincent, Teresa and Karla; her cherished grandchildren: Amber, Dustin, Melissa, Rebecca, Seth, Alondra, Darren, Megan, Brandon and her precious great-grandchildren: Carter, Callum, Harper, Lou, Keenan, Haislee, Jaxson, Eli, Harrison and Jonah. She also leaves behind her loving sister Roberta along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Eileen, sister Joy and her beloved son, Darren.
Maureen was the heart of her family—kind, generous, and always putting others before herself. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and her presence and cooking brought warmth and joy to every gathering. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love, faith, and strength that will continue to guide and inspire those who knew her.
A funeral service to celebrate Maureen’s life was held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at North Pointe Community Church, 14025-167 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB.
