1946 –2024

It is with great sadness that my dear, sweet husband, Chris Taylor, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024. He leaves behind many people who loved and admired him. Chris was born in Liverpool, England, to parents, Winifred Taylor (Thomas) and Nelson Taylor.

Chris was strong willed and a bit stubborn, with an enormous heart, and wonderful sense of humour. He was generous, loyal, brave, as well as clever and full with knowledge gained through his many life experiences. He served in the RAF and spent a great deal of time in Singapore. He was a radio technician and travelled the world to board ships to maintain the radio equipment. Chris emigrated to Canada in November of 1977. Chris retired in 2006 after a 25 year career with the Edmonton City Police serving in the IT department. He built a home at Baptiste Lake with his wife and soul mate, Donna, and lived his retirement years at the lake. His hobbies are many but most loved was building and flying radio-controlled scale model airplanes.

Chris leaves behind to mourn, his wife, Donna Taylor (Hamilton) of almost 29 years; his twin sisters, Lindsay Northey (Ken) and Judith Taylor; his children, Claire Brandwood (Stephen), Craig Taylor (Kristy), Matt Clark (Jes), and Greg (Christine); his 12 grandchildren, Luke and Nathaniel Brandwood, Isabelle, Emmett and Evie Taylor, Skyler, Zackery and Trinity Clark, and Carson, Isabella, Colton and Clara Clark; as well as many friends and extended family all over the world.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Albert Curling Club.
