On Sunday, December 31, 2023, Mervyn Sword peacefully passed away at the age of 84 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Murray (Pam), Scott (Salimah), and Kim (Kerri); grandchildren, Kaylee (Calvin), Zachary, and Benjamin; as well as numerous friends and relatives. Mervyn was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Elaine; and parents, Viola and Thomas.
Mervyn was laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victory Life Church of St. Albert.
