It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we share the news that Neil has passed away at the age of 76.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Debora, Wendi (James), Gregory (Cheryl), Christopher (Gabriela); his grandchildren, Sierra (Max), Chantel, Jacob, Jonas, Ashlyn, Vivian, Scarlett; and one great grandchild, Evangeline Pearl; his siblings, Ella (Ted), Jack (Marg), Shirley; his sister-in-law, Linda. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and numerous friends.
Neil was predeceased by his parents, Ada and Robert Lloyd; his brother, David; his brother-in-law, Fred and grandchild, Jennavieve.
Neil will always be known for his love and generosity by family and friends. His lifelong commitment to various community organizations, including the Kinsmen Club of St. Albert and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2102, will always be remembered and appreciated. Neil is also known for his passion for hockey, golf, curling and travelling with family.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on March 10 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, followed by reception at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 23 Rowland Crescent, St. Albert.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Neil’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
