Christiana "Christie" Dorreen Stewart was born in Lashburn, Saskatchewan on January 21, 1935, the daughter of James and Frances (nee Thom) Ball. On Sunday, September 1, 2024, Christiana "Christie" Doreen Stewart (nee Ball) passed away at home at the age of 89 years.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Yvonne (Ken) Kuhn, Dwayne (Betty) Stewart, Brian (Brenda) Stewart, Darryl (Heather) Stewart, Brad (Theresa) Stewart and Sherri Davidson (Brian Hauptman); step-children Jackie Rattell and Chad Rattell; grandchildren Travis, Cody, Angela, Shannon, Scott, Kyle, Alyssa, Reed, Danielle, Michael, Shawn, Maya and Jonathon; her 27 great grandchildren; her remaining sister Patsy; brother Alan; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Christie is predeceased by her partner in life Jack Rattell; her parents Jim and Frances Ball; her siblings Shirley (Stan) Christensen, Roy (Pat) Ball, and Gordon (Pauline) Ball; son-in-law Mark Davidson; grandchildren Sabrina Kuhn Cole and Devin Stewart.
