In Loving Memory of Pauline Sookochoff.
On March 8th, Pauline Sookochoff passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love, creativity, and kindness.
For decades, she shared her passion for flowers and artistry as the owner of Pollies Follies, a cherished florist shop in Redwater, Alberta. Alongside her late husband, Terry, she also operated the town’s auto parts store. Pauline’s talents as a ceramicist, award-winning painter, and poet shone brightly.
She embraced nature and adventure, creating countless memories RV-ing and traveling with Terry across Alberta’s provincial parks and beyond. In her later years at West Country Hearth in Villeneuve, she shared her gifts through crafts, bingo, and library projects, finding joy in painting, reading, birdwatching, and exploring new horizons.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband Terrence, and her sons Theodore and Kenneth. She is lovingly remembered by her children Arnold (Kim), Brenda (Brian), and Marcella, and her grandchildren Dorian, Misty, Justin, and Tatianna. Honoring her wishes, no public memorial is planned, as the family has paid tribute privately.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Citadel Care in St. Albert for their respectful and compassionate care during Pauline’s final year.
Pauline’s vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Rest peacefully, dear Pauline.
