It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Cecil Kenneth (Ken) Smart, age 84 years, on December 23, 2023, in St. Albert, AB.
Ken is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia; daughter, Stephanie (Lorne); son, Niall; daughter, Andrea; and grandson, Christopher. His sisters: Joyce (Harry) of N. Ireland, and Eileen (Fred) of Wales also survive.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Dorothy of N. Ireland.
The family is grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at both Youville Home and Sturgeon Community Hospital, for their care during the past few years. There will be a private family service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken's memory to Covenant Health Youville Home or Sturgeon Hospital Foundation.
