It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Berner Sjostrom.
Berner passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the age of 65 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Terry Sjostrom of Olds; children, Miranda Sjostrom, Brittany (Dean) Sjostrom, Natasha (Josh) Bertoia, Bradley Sjostrom and seven grandchildren, all from the Westlock area; four sisters, Anne Schrock of BC, Marie Knipelberg of Spruce Grove, Carol Quinn of Trochu, Lucie (Emile) Lambert of Pickardville and brother, Edwin Sjostrom of St. Albert, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Berner was predeceased by his parents, Ted & Helene Sjostrom of Clyde and his son, Steven Sjostrom of Westlock.
There will be a Celebration of Life for family & friends to be held at a later date.
Anyone who wishes, may make a Memorial Donation to a charity of one’s choice.
