August 14, 1951 – June 25, 2024
On Tuesday morning, June 25, 2024 at the Royal Alex Hospital, Dianne Sheidow passed away peacefully from complications due to myotonic muscular dystrophy. Dianne was born and raised in Winnipeg, where she met and married Jim in November of 1973. Dianne, Jim and their young family moved to St. Albert in 1983 due to a job transfer. Dianne truly loved living in St. Albert and loved all the green space and walking trails. Dianne doted on her two girls and was always there for them.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Tamara and Kristen;
brother, Albert (Diane) of Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Henri and Harvey of Winnipeg,
Rene of Bowser, BC; sisters, Denise and Rolande of Winnipeg.
Dianne is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. At Dianne’s request there will be no formal funeral service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Flowers gratefully declined. Dianne would wish that any donations in her memory be made to the muscular dystrophy association or the Edmonton SPCA.
