1937 – 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathy Schubert announce her sudden passing on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at the age of 86 after a brief illness.
Kathy was an active and busy person throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening (including tending to her roses), and recreational activities such as traveling. She worked at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for 45 years until retirement.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Elizabeth, Robert (Maryse), Sylvia (Michael); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members friends.
Kathy was predeceased by her husband, Louis; parents, Bela and Ilona.
A private family service will take place later this year.
The family would like to thank Eaux Claire Extendicare as well the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital for the care that Kathy recieved.
In lieu flowers, memorial donations may be made to the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation.
