On August 14, 2024, Vera Redhead passed away, reuniting with her beloved family members: mother and father Harriett and Joseph Skelton, sister Doris Teasdale, husband Clifford Redhead and her sons David and Alan Redhead. Family and friends who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives will forever be touched by her memory as she was known for her generosity and kindness.
Vera began her 90 year journey in Cleator Moor Cumbria, England. She ventured to Canada and eventually made a home with her family in Sherwood Park. Shortly after Cliff passed away, she moved to St. Albert and quickly settled in her new residence, establishing many close friendships. Vera deeply loved the children in her life and made special bonds with many. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and the addition of great grandchildren brought her tremendous joy.
We will all miss Vera greatly but celebrate the wonderful life she lived and are grateful to have been a part of it.
At Vera’s request, a funeral will not be held. Thank you to everyone who loved and supported Vera.
