March 20th, 1938 - October 7th, 2024
On October 7th, 2024 Eugene Richard Pawelka of Sturgeon County passed away at the age of 86 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Jane; son, Jamie (Tina); grandchildren, Ethan, Drew and Seth; sisters, Vicki and Gloria; as well as extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents August and Marie and his brother Gerald.
Eugene was a lifelong farmer who loved his cattle herd and working the land. He was also a grader operator for Sturgeon County for 35 years. He loved ice fishing and always planting a big garden. When he wasn't outdoors he liked watching Heartland on TV or going "coffeeing" with the guys. Eugene always enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and watching them compete in sports.
He is now at peace, it was a life well lived.
Eugene's wish was to be cremated and for there to be no funeral service, his family is honoring his request.
