1983 - 2024

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lyndsey Lee Norsworthy, affectionately known as Lynds to her friends and family. Born on July 15, 1983, in St. Albert, Alberta, Lyndsey brought joy and love into this world, a journey that continued until her passing on September 2, 2024, in her hometown of St. Albert, due to complications from cancer. Lyndsey was a beacon of kindness and thoughtfulness, touching the lives of all who knew her. A loving wife to her husband Tyler, a nurturing mother to her children Cooper and Hadley, and a cherished daughter to her parents Ken and Delores White, Lyndsey was the heart of her family. Her sister Leah White, (Scott Martin) was her absolute best friend, and support to our family. Her love and commitment to us all will never be forgotten. Her in-laws Don and Dayle Norsworthy, as well as her sister-in-law Kayla Collier, (Dennis, and Emi) and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, will forever hold Lynds in a special place in their hearts.

Lyndsey’s interests were as diverse as they were rich. A lover of animals, she shared her home and heart with pets that were as much a part of her family as her nearest and dearest. Her love for Broadway was evident in her appreciation for the arts, and she found joy in the storytelling and music that the stage brings to life. Traveling was another passion of Lyndsey’s exploring new cultures and creating lasting memories with her loved ones.

She was an avid reader, often found with a book in hand, lost in stories and knowledge that broadened her horizons. Music filled her home with melodies that echoed her mood, from the softest ballads to the most uplifting tunes. Above all, Lynds dedicated herself to being the best mother possible, guiding and nurturing her children with an endless supply of love and wisdom.

Lyndsey Lee Norsworthy's legacy is one of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness—a legacy that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we say farewell to Lynds, we reflect on a life well-lived, a life that, despite its challenges, was marked by an unwavering spirit of positivity and resilience. She will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to shine in the lives of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her grace and compassion.

Today, as we remember Lynds, we celebrate the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the enduring impact she made on the world. She was the love of her husband Tyler’s life and will be sorely missed.

A Celebration of Lyndsey’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Enjoy Centre in the Moonflower Room, 101 Riel Dr, St. Albert, AB.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lyndsey’s name to Homeward Hound Rescue.
