It is with profound sadness that the family of Niall McEvoy announce his passing on October 27th, at the age of 47 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Darby; his sister, Anne (Tyler); and his nephews: Kian, Soren, and Lyndon. Niall had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor, he will be dearly missed by his many friends and relatives in St. Albert, Vancouver Island, Ireland, and the UK.

Niall was predeceased by his loving parents, Rosaleen and Clement McEvoy.

Niall, a native of St. Albert, forged enduring friendships during his formative years in high school before embarking on a journey to British Columbia to pursue higher education at the University of Victoria. In the picturesque landscapes of Vancouver Island, he cultivated a profound passion for the outdoors, finding joy in activities like camping, biking, surfing, and the soothing embrace of the ocean. Additionally, he ardently supported his beloved football team, Liverpool Football Club. While Niall enjoyed a successful career in his chosen field, his proudest and most cherished role was that of a loving father to his adored daughter, Darby.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on November 18th, at 1.00 p.m., in Holy Family Catholic Church, 75 Poirier Avenue, St. Albert. Following the Mass, interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorial Donations, if desired, may be made in Niall’s name to the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
