Karen Patricia Marshall, 66, of Edmonton, AB, passed away peacefully on November 9th, with her husband of 40 years Doug (Marshall) at her side.
Born February 21, 1957 to Melissa and Earl Berryman, Karen was raised with her 4 siblings Ken, Keith, Cory, and Sherry in Whitecourt, AB.
Karen loved having company over, and ensured everyone knew there was always a place for them at the house (even over Christmas).
Family was always first for Karen, and she raised 5 children: Chuck (Erin), Mark (Lauren), Ryan (Jenni), Donovan (Morgan), and Chelsea (Ray). She was an amazing wife and mother. She was an avid gardener, fantastic cook, and the biggest supporter of her 6 grandchildren (Chance, Nathan, Tehya, Ayla, Leah, and Aoife).
The family would like to thank the staff at the Foyer Lacombe for their wonderful care and compassion provided to Karen and her family during the last few weeks of her life.
Per Karen’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to instead consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
