It is with sadness that we share the passing of Margaret (Peg) Humbert (née: Watson), who died peacefully after a short illness, at the age of 91.

Peg is survived by her six children: Dorothy (Karel), Janet, John (Donna), Joan, David (Lisa), Marnie (Ron); seven granddaughters: Kristy (Tim), Darcie (Rob), Dana (Mehdi), Claire, Gwyneth, Mallory, Naomi; five great-grandsons and brothers-in-law: Charles Thompson and Eiler Humbert.

She was predeceased by her parents, John Watson and Violet Copeland (Watson); husband, Paul Humbert; sister, Marion Thompson and sister-in-law and best friend, Jean Humbert.

Peg was born in Regina, served as a registered nurse in her youth, and raised a family of six children in St. Albert. Community was important to Peg, and her friends and family would remember her as a dedicated volunteer for many local organizations, including Girl Guides. Of special significance to Peg was the United Church in St. Albert, where she was a long-standing member of United Church Women (UCW).

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the

St. Albert United Church, 20 Green Grove Drive, St. Albert, AB.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Peg’s memory to St. Albert United Church, 20 Green Grove Drive, St. Albert, AB, T8N 5H6.
