On September 13, 2024, Greg lost his courageous battle against colon cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle (22 years); son, Hunter; daughter, Madison; parents, Larry and Dorothy; brother, Eric (Anna); sister-in-law, Shawna; nieces, Jessica and Rebecca; mother-in-law Dinna (Ron); and numerous friends and relatives.
He was predeceased by his brother Neil and father-in-law Ian McRae.
Greg grew up in St. Albert and could not imagine raising his family anywhere else. He was an avid Oilers fan and enjoyed all sports, including golf, fishing, bowling, and, most recently, pickleball. He loved playing games—both video and board games—and enjoyed his downtime at the lake.
We would like to express many thanks to the doctors and staff at the Grey Nuns, Unit 43, for their compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM, in the Crown & Tower Pub, 11 Bellerose Dr., St. Albert. The pub will remain closed for Greg's Celebration, all ages are welcome.
