Patrick’s family is sad to announce his sudden passing in St. Albert at the age of 76.
Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, Patrick came west with his young family in the late 1960s. Here he launched his successful sales career working in media and advertising, eventually relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, to work in real estate sales. Patrick loved the fast-paced energy and excitement of Las Vegas and spent the next thirty years building a life there with his second wife Betty and his best friend, his dog Davinci. He returned to St. Albert on his retirement to be closer to family.
Patrick will be sadly missed by his sons Trevor (Trevor Fieber), Darren, and Jason, and their mother Linda; his four grandchildren (Leah, Chris, Kali, Jenna) and four great-grandchildren (Auviana, Taysen, Elyse, Loyal); his brother John (Helene) and niece Allison (Michael), sister Ann (Clarence Riske), nephew Michael (Katie), and niece Jennifer (Julius).
Patrick was predeceased by his father James Leggatt, his mother Helen Leggatt (nee White), and his special aunt Kathleen Quinn (nee White).
In keeping with Patrick’s wishes, he will be cremated with a small family-only service. Donations in his memory may be sent to Edmonton Humane Society, edmontonhumanesociety.com.
