It is with great sadness that the family of K. Olaf Lange announce his recent passing on April 21, 2024. Olaf will be lovingly missed by his wife of 57 years, Arnie, his son, Mark (Anissa), his daughter Colleen (Scott) and his grandkids, Brooke, Nate and Cooper.
Olaf was born in Mainz, Germany and moved to Canada in 1967. He had a long career in Management and was with the Woolco/Walmart organization for over 25 years before retiring in 1996 after opening the Walmart Canada store in St. Albert. He was a resident and community contributor in St. Albert for 42 years.
Memories of Olaf will live on through his friends and family as the World's biggest FC Bayern Munich soccer fan, a cowboy dreamer, a juke box jiver, the best dressed in any room, and a true man amongst men.
At the family’s request, there will be no formal service, cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
