Jane passed away peacefully at home from this life the morning of November 25, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family during her last days of life. Jane was born in Ottawa, Ontario.
Jane will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bernard (Bunny) of 53 years; her two daughters, Heather (Scott) Kapty and Crystal (Chad) Garvin; her granddaughters, Makayla and Addison Kapty; and her sister, Donna (Bob) Clarke.
Jane was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Kathleen Barnes.
Jane’s memory will live on in the countless friends she made throughout her life.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Julie and Gail from Caregivers Home Healthcare for their loving kindness, compassion and support. To the staff at Citadel Shoppers Drugmart for their support. To Dr. Anyabolu for her kindness and compassion. And to the women she loved to talk with in Citadel East. Especially Cheryl and the craft ladies.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Jinu Rajan at 12:00PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at St. Edmunds Catholic Church, 13120- 116 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society.
