1926 - 2025
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed from this earth, shortly after celebrating her 99th birthday with family and friends.
Jennie was predeceased in 2023 by her husband of 71 years, J. Arthur (Art) Jones, and leaves to mourn her loss: her children Alan (Kathy) Jones, Brenda (Dennis) Hanson, Barb Courtney, Larry (Gwen) Jones and Shelley (Ray) Guidinger; her beloved grandchildren, Heather (Trevor), Lisa (Jon), Sarah (Kyle), Jeff, Darren, Breanna, Robb, Taylor (Hanson), Kaitlin, Carla (Matt) and Brent (Kristy) and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as extended family.
Jennie married Art in 1951. After the birth of their five children, the family transferred from Lloydminster to Edmonton. In 1975, Art and Jennie purchased an acreage near Onoway where they lived for 40 years, entertaining countless family and friends on so many occasions. They relocated to St. Albert in 2015.
