It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roger William Jackson, just shy of his 75th birthday.

Roger grew up in Edmonton, where he developed life-long friends, graduated from the University of Alberta and spent most of his career in government. He considered the pinnacle of his career the privilege of having served as a Deputy Minister for the Government of Alberta.

Throughout his life, Roger was well known for his kindness, generosity and sense of humour.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughters, Rebecca and Sarah; sisters, Catherine Perry, Susan Christ and Cindy Kastner; friend and mother of his children, Patricia Albers; life-long friends, John Wainwright and Jay Lilge; and many other friends and relatives.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date on Park Memorial's website. Photos, memories, and condolences may be shared through www.parkmemorial.com.
